BROWNING 12-BORE 'TRAP 3' CUSTOM GRADE SINGLE TRIGGER OVER AND UNDER EJECTOR, serial no. 34205S1, 30in. nitro barrels with wide matt ventilated rib, two piece fore-end, 2 3/4in. chambers, action deeply carved with flowing acanthus, a gold-inlaid with a boar's head and a ram, signed by the engravers A. Watrin & Vandersmisseng, 14 1/2in. highly-figured pistolgrip stock inset with a gold plaque engraved "Offeit a Mr Carrega Champion du Monde 1970 Phoenix", wood insert by comb, weight 8lbs. 11oz. It is believed that the above gun was presented by Browning to him on his successful win at Phoenix on becoming The World Trap Champion. This and the following lot belonged to the Late Michael Carrega, the four times Trap Shooting Champion of the World and the Silver Medallist in the 1972 Munich Olympics.
