Au Q.G. du Kaire, 14 fructidor an 8 (September 1st, 1800). 1 pp. in-folio, letterhead paper from Desgenettes “Chief Medical Officer of the Army” with small engraved vignette, page slightly dirty, herewith a portrait. René-Nicolas DESGENETTES. 1762-1837. Célèbre médecin militaire, chef du service de santé de la Grande Armée.Lettre aut. au citoyen Marcel, directeur de l’Imprimerie. Au Q.G. du Kaire, 14 fructidor an 8 (1er septembre 1800). 1 pp. in-folio, en-tête de Desgenettes « médecin en chef de l’Armée » avec petite vignette gravée, page légt salie. Joint un portrait. Il a été autorisé par le général en chef de s’occuper de la réimpression de son Avis sur la petite vérole. Desgenettes souhaite qu’il soit seulement publié en arabe et compte sur Marcel pour le soin apporté à cette édition. Il lui rappelle sa promesse d’imprimer un poème italien sur la mort du général Kléber.
