An oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, second quarter 19th century, the broken scroll pediment above an arched glazed door flanked by inlaid reeded pilasters enclosing a 13" white painted arched enamel dial marked Ed Jones, Holywell with roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and dated dial, rolling moon phase in the arch, the corners painted with rustic cottages, eight day movement striking on a bell, now lacking, above an ogive moulding and bevelled lozenge centred short trunk door with three pointed ogee arches to the top flanked by reeded quarter pilasters over a raised panel ogive moulding and raised base board, distressed, 89 in (226.06 cm) high
