An oak and mahogany clock dresser, early 19th century, the moulded ogive cornice with arched centre section over a circular glazed door enclosing a 17" white painted enamel dial, restored 1984 by G W Bliss, roman numerals, eight day movement striking on a bell above a trunk door inlaid with a harewood and boxwood conche shell motif and musical trophy, the breakfront centre section flanked by panel cupboard doors centred by oval motifs of Britannia on the Lion and classical urns between ebony strung three quater round columns and panelled ends, the base centred by two short oak and mahogany crossbanded drawers above two panel cupboard doors centred by oval classical urn motifs enclosing small shelves and a recess and flanked by eight graduated short drawers with ivory kite shaped escutcheons and Victorian turned ebonised handles between reeded half columns and on plinth base, moulding losses, 84 in (213.36 cm) wide, 20.5 in (52.07 cm) deep, 88 in (223.52 cm) high
