A George III mahogany and inlaid secretaire chest, circa 1795, the bevelled rectangular top above a drop down secretaire drawer front, inlaid with ebony and boxwood strung ovals, enclosing a satinwood veneered central cupboard, flanked by letter slides, two shallow drawers, eight pigeon holes and eight further drawers, over three long graduated cock beaded drawers, with oval brass stamped swing handles and ivory escutcheons and raised on ogee bracket feet, repolished, 51" wide, 23" deep, 44.5" high
