The Franklin Mint 'Sir Francis Drake Falling Ball Clock' issued by The Royal Geographical Society in commemoration of the 400th anniversary of Drake's circumnavigation of the world, with Thwaites & Reed of London seven day movement, the brass globe movement casing with silvered horizontal chapter ring stamped 'The Franklin Mint, Thwaites & Reed Ltd, England', with engraved back plate inset into a mahogany wall mounting board, 30" high *This clock is sold with a certificate of authenticity from The Royal Geographical Society dated 5th January 1981; also a small booklet and instructions for mounting and setting the clock
