An impressive late 19th century Elkington silver plated centrepiece, in the form of an oak tree upon which stands a mature stag with its head raised eating the vegetation, below a fawn standing, the tree trunk rising and splitting in two, heavily decorated with oak leaves and acorns extending all over the branches reaching up to a layer of six oak leaf supports, at the extensions of these having fitted alternately three candle holders and three oil light holders, rising up from within the centre of this a canopy of oak leaves and acorns leaving a depression for a floral decoration, replated, height approx 76cm
