A Minton majolica teapot of oval form, the cover formed as a mushroom, the body decorated in relief with foliage and flowers in green and white on a yellow ground, the spout modelled as a leaf, the handle a stem, pale blue interior, impressed marks, date cypher 1859, chip to corner of cover, restruck with minor loss, and to stem on underside of foot, 4.875in high.
