Early twentieth century silver cased petrol lighter with spinning wheel flint mechanism inside the case and turning handle to the exterior-rope taper fuse also fixed to the outside of the case. Engraved with the initials 'S.F.C' and '1910'. Only marked with a lion passant and the maker's initials 'A&JZ'-assumed to be A & J Zimmerman of Birmingham. Overall height of the case 5.4cms. Overall with general surface scratches, marks and dints, there are also some patches of tarnishing, unable to determine if the item is in working order or not, or the condition of the mechanism.
