Victorian baby teething ring with rattle of a child in Dutch clothing. Maximum length measures 4 1/4ins (11cm). Hallmarked Chester 1890, also stamped W.H.C. There are surface scratches to the rattle, and a number of small dents. There is a large dent in the bottom, by the feet. There is also quite a lot of discolouration to the silver, but the details of the child are still clear and undamaged. The ring itself is quite battered, with a lot of scratches and notches. The hallmark is clearly legible.
