Silver plated candelabra with two intertwining branches raised on a facetted shaped stem forming octagonal base with fluted corners. Converted for electrical use. Height measures approximately 12ins (31cm), marked to the base Elkington plate. The candelabra is for use with electricity. It has a socket on the base and a lightbulb fitting in each sconce. It is not clear whether this an original feature or a later conversion. The plate has worn off in a few places, but is general intact. There are some general surface scratches to the whole. There is a lot of polish present, especially around the decoration and inside the sconces. Along with the Elkington Plate mark, the candelabra is marked with an 'X', and the words 'A.T. Wiley Co. Limited Montreal'.
