VICTORIAN STERLING & SPODE PORCELAIN TRAVELING TEA SET IN A LEATHER CASE, 1886-87, H 10", W 13": The brown tooled leather case having a hinged lid and pair of doors opening to a purple silk and velvet-lined interior fitted with a 3-piece sterling silver tea set, 2 sterling spoons, 2 porcelain cups with 2 porcelain saucers by Spode in the "Blue Willow" pattern. Hallmarks for all sterling pieces include a lion passant, uncrowned leopard, queen`s profile, date letters L or M indicating London, 1886-1887, and maker`s mark "CB" enclosed [unidentified, see photo]. The case measures H.9 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 9 1/4" overall.
