A late 19th century diamond necklace, circa 1890, the central open work swag section of scrolls and foliate tendrils, removable to form a brooch, set throughout with old brilliant and old cut diamonds with an old brilliant cut diamond trefoil drop, 5.9cm long, between drop connections, removable to form a pair of ear pendents, designed as old brilliant cut diamond fan drops suspended by from articulated old cut diamond connections, 4.9cm long, with similarly set open work foliate and tendril swags to an old cut diamond figure of eight back chain and an old brilliant cut diamond cluster clasp, total diamond weight approximately 16.30 carats, mounted throughout in gold backed silver with removable brooch and post earring fittings, 40.2cm long overall
