A "Semi China" basket-moulded dessert comport, of ornate rectangular shape with blue twig handles and a band of basket weave moulding on the top and around the pedestal foot, printed in blue with a rural scene and lighter open floral border, with other scenes around the outer sides (one apparently of St. Albans Abbey), overall length 25.2cm, printed mark "SEMI / CHINA" in a double line octagonal panel, circa 1815-25 (one handle restored)
