A Victorian white metal mounted bamboo system walking syick, late 19th century, the foliate engraved knob grip unscrewing to a hollow interior, housing a subsidiary hallmarked silver cover opening to a wick, 89.5cm high; and a late Victorian or Edwardian stained beech system walking stick, circa 1900, the knob grip lifting off to reveal a pencil within, the shaft inscribed ‘MAURICE’ and with metal ferrule below, 91.5cm high
