A rare Masonic silver plated copper and ebonised Tyler’s sword stick, early 20th century, the bulbous engine milled grip unscrewing to a sword and separate scabbard within, the former with gilt wire wrapped hilt, the steel blade etched with various Masonic symbols amongst foliage, the hilt pommel unscrewing to allow the fitting of a gilt metal cross guard, the black leather scabbard with further gilt metal fittings, the sword 85cm long, the stick 89.5cm high
