A Japanese Hododa Satsuma part tea set comprising a teapot and cover, sugar bowl and cover, milk jug and cover and two cups and saucers, each decorated with panels of Arhats and Buddhist deities in stylised landscapes all on a Mazarin blue ground with gilt diaper decoration, the handles, spouts and knops formed as dragons, all in overglaze enamels and heavy gilding, bases marked with the Satsuma Mon and a seal `Satsuma Hododa` (10)
