A pair of George III silver pedestal salts by Robert, David & Samuel Hennell, London 1802; and another pair earlier, with the maker`s mark overstruck by that of Robert, David & Samuel Hennell, London 1794, fluted and with gilt interiors, engraved with a crest, 8.5cm (3.25in) diameter, 354g (11.25 oz). Provenance: The Estate of the late Professor Rupert Hall and Mrs Hall. The overstruck mark probably that of Robert & David Hennell.
