Rob't Kelham, Chelmsford, Essex, a George III silver pair case pocket watch, circa 1779. no.200, the fusee verge movement with a foliate pierced balance cock with a diamond end-stone and a steel three-arm balance, a silver regulation dial and turned pillars, white dial with black Roman numerals and gilt poker hands, the cases with traces of original gilding (repaired) and hallmarked London 1780, together with a cut steel oval seal with a monogram and a fancy link watch chain Robert Kelham, Chelmsford, Essex, is recorded in Baillie, G.H., Watchmakers and Clockmakers of the World, recorded 1775-94.
