A Floral Vases pattern part tea set, printed in blue with the sheet-like pattern of vases and floral border, comprising teapot with cover, footed bowl, covered sugar box, and six London shape teacups and saucers, five of the saucers with printed 'SEMI / CHINA' seal marks, circa 1825-35 (some damage) See Priestman, 'An Illustrated Guide to Minton Printed Pottery 1796-1836', pages 179-82, for discussion of this pattern, introduced by Minton in the early 1820s but copied, as in this tea set, by some other unidentified factory
