An early 19th century black-printed pearlware teapot and cover, of oval shape with D handle and cover with simple loop knop, with blue lining to the rim, spout and knop, printed on either side with a chinoiserie scene featuring an ornate pagoda and a prominent apple tree, and with a border of geometric panels and scrolls around the shoulder and cover, overall length 27cm, unmarked, circa 1800-10 (some minor chipping and glaze flaking)
