A Finnish Army Tripod for the Model 09/32 Maxim Machine Gun, Adapted for Displaying a German Maxim MG.08. Modelled on the German Maxim Dreifuss 16, with adjustable front legs folding to the rear, elevating mechanism intended to move on the rear foot, provision for fitting armoured shield, the rear leg with folding carrying handles and telescoping trial section fitted with folding seat, and some early green painted finish throughout (one front leg with an early armourer`s repair not impairing the function; the supporting slide at the base of the elevating mechanism now welded to the rear foot). Together with a modern ring bracket engineered for fitting an MG.08, and an additional supporting bracket with cotter pin. (3) See Dolf L.
