A Rare Great War Group of Four to Private S. E. Carew, Royal Marine Brigade, 1914 Star, with rosette (R.M.A. 13976. Pte. S. E. Carew, R.M. Brigade), British War and Victory Medals (R.M.A. 13976 Gr. S.E. Carew.), Royal Fleet Reserve Long Service and Good Conduct Medal (RMA. 13976 (Ply. B. 1911) S.E. Carew. Mne. R. F.R.), together with related paperwork and postcards including, Certificate of Service - Stanley Eli Carter enlisted in Bristol on the 24th of Feb 1914 aged 17 years, and saw service on H.M.S. Royal Sovereign with the Royal Marine Artillery throughout the Great War, he was discharged in 1936 after 22 years service Postcards- `RMA Marching to Drill`; H.M.S. Sovovereign`s crew members; Anzac Beach, Cape Helles, etc, (23) (lot). Black & white photographic image of H.M.S. Royal Sovereign`s mascot Ginger ` In Loving Memory of Our Late Ship Mate, Ginger, H.M.S. Royal Sovereign, Drowned at Sea, 20th July 1917, Loved By All`.
