A photograph of the `Falkland Island Express’, circa 1916, the silver gelatine print of later date, showing a Kerr Stuart built `Wren’ class 0-4-0 locomotive of the Camber Railway pulling three wooden-bodied open passenger trucks marked `1st Class’, `2nd Class’ and `3rd Class Smoker’, with the hulk of the S.S. Great Britain moored beyond, 16cm x 24cm; together with a second photograph, similarly reprinted at a later date, showing four sail-driven trolley wagons of the Camber Railway, variously lug and gaff rigged, 16.5cm x 24cm, (2).. Note: The Camber Railway was constructed in 1915 and ran, as a single line of approximately 2-foot gauge, for three miles along the north side of Stanley harbour, from the depot at Navy Point to the Admiralty wireless station at Moody Brook. It remained operational until the late 1920s.
