A George III oak 8-day longcase clock, c.1790, the 4-pillar rack and bell striking movement with 'phase 1' type 12 white Roman numeral painted break-arch dial with subsidiary seconds dial, arch calendar aperture and delicate gilt foliate scroll decoration to centre, plain gilt edged spandrels and urn amongst foliage to arch, in well proportioned pagoda pedimented case with integral reeded hood pilasters, break-arch trunk door and on plinth base with two-tier apron, 216cm.
