Große Ikone mit der Gottesmutter aus einer DeesisRussland, 2. Hälfte 19. Jh. Verbund aus zwei Nadelholz-Brettern mit zwei Stirnseiten-Sponki. Bildfüllende Darstellung der nach links gewandten Gottesmutter. In ihrer Linken hält sie eine geöffnete Schriftrolle. Ihr dunkelrotes Maphorion ist reich mit Zierornamenten versehen. Leicht wurmstichig. Min. rest. 44 x 36 cmThe Mother of God from a Deisis. Russia, late 19th century. Tempera on gesso on woodpanel, background stripped to gesso. The Mother of God shown half-length with scroll. The garments accented with jewel encrustations. Min. worn, restored. 44 x 36 cm.
