*WWI - Albatros Aerial Dogfight Memento. A large mahogany propeller blade with oil painted decoration, depicting a BE2C 'Pusher' Biplane in the act of shooting down a German aircraft, and having applied silver plaque commemorating the war service of Pilot Hugh Joseph Coogan ACI No. 42668, engraved and inscribed "Entry RFC 7th August 1916 - entry RAF 1st April 1918", the painting depicts his fighting action and thus the memento of his victory, inset oval glazed frame with photograph of the Pilot in his new RAF uniform. 35x11ins (90x30cm) (1)
