L.I.) generally very fine and better (8) £120-£160 --- Charles William Day was born at Dover, Kent and attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry at Oxford. He served with 5th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 20 May 1915, and was killed in action on 25 September 1915. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium. William John Hall was born at Woodstock, Oxfordshire and attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry at Oxford. He served with 7th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 29 November 1914, and subsequently in Salonika, where he was reported missing presumed killed in action on 9 May 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Doiran Memorial. George Hinton was born at Horspath, Oxford in 1893 and attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He served with 5th Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 20 May 1915 and was killed in action on 22 June 1915. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium. George Richardson was born in Oxford and attested there for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry. He served with the 1st/1st (Buckinghamshire) Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front, and was killed in action on 16 August 1917. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium. George Charles Steward, a native of Windsor, Berkshire, attested for the Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry on 18 November 1915. He served with the 1st Garrison Battalion during the Great War in India, and was discharged suffering from Malaria in May 1919. The British War Medal is his sole medal entitlement for service in the Great War.

If you live within the UK, items will be despatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery. This service provides parcel tracking (via the Royal Mail website) and next weekday delivery (betwen 9am and 1pm). Items delivered within the UK are covered by our insurance company. Heavy and bulky lots will be sent by courier, in discussion with the client.
Outside of the UK
If the item/s being sent are worth under £1000 in total they are sent using Royal Mail’s Signed For International service. This ensures the item must be signed for when it is delivered.
If the item/s being sent are valued at over £1000 in total they will be sent using FedEx. This service allows next day delivery to customers in many parts of the US and parcels are fully trackable using the FedEx website.
