Zilveren broche, tevens hanger; Vlaams hart, 19e eeuw. Het hart en de kroon ajour gezaagd, het hart in het midden los bungelend en omlijst door een baan van goud. Het geheel bezet met roosgeslepen diamant. Een Vlaams hart werd gegeven op Moederdag bij de viering van Maria. Het gekroonde hart symboliseert het hart van Maria in een rozenkrans. De rozenkrans heeft een centraal loshangend deel met in het midden de 'mooiste' diamant "mooi en sprankelend als het hart van Maria zelf" omringd door tien kleine diamanten. A Flemish heart was given on Mother's Day to celebrate Mary. The crowned heart symbolizes the heart of Mary in a rosary. The rosary has a central loose part with the 'most beautiful' diamond in the middle "beautiful and sparkling as the heart of Mary herself" surrounded by ten small diamonds. Collections or possible transport of the goods bought at auction, the due sums shall be paid, either using cash or debit card (no credit cards accepted) or via banktransfer: IBAN NL35 INGB 0697 4124 15, BIC INGBNL2A.
A bidder is accepting personal liability to pay the purchase price and all other premiums and applicable taxes and charges. The buyer’s premium for bidding in the room is 29,5% incl. VAT of the hammerprice.
The adjudication of the lot is at the discretion of the auctioneer, e.g. when several bidders claim an identical final bid. In case of doubt, the auctioneer can decide to re-open bidding for the same lot.
