Jack Rigg (British 1927-): 'New Year's Day Blackwater Maldon Essex', six colour prints signed in pencil 28cm x 40cm (6) (unframed) Notes: Rigg initially painted this as a summer view in 1986, but was commissioned by the Royal National Mission to Deep Sea Fishermen in 1988 to paint a Christmas card design and so altered the picture to a snow scene. Two of these prints show the summer view, the other four the winter view.
