Geo Bontinck was a prominent Belgian architect and urban planner, born on February 8, 1903, in Ghent, Belgium, and passed away on June 20, 1999, in Eke. His career was marked by a diverse range of projects that spanned from residential buildings to public and social infrastructure. Bontinck studied decorative arts and architecture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. He won the academy’s grand prize competition twice, once for decorative arts in 1921 and again for architecture in 1924. In 1935, he became a lecturer at the academy, and from 1945 to 1968, he served as its director, influencing generations of students. Bontinck’s architectural style is known for its functionalism, often enriched with poetic details. FEES AND PAYMENT METHODS

The auction price is increased by 25% of buyer fees including tax.

Resale rights of 4% may apply. (artists who died for less than 70 years and for an amount greater than 2000 euros).

Purchases must be paid within five days of the sale.

The preferred methods of payment remain the bank card or the transfer.

For international transfers, the costs are fully borne by the buyer. We accept cash below 3000 €.
