Feniks. [Phoenix, a Literary and Artistic Monthly Publication. Numbers 1-3, all published.] Tbilisi: 1919. 3 volumes in 2, small 4° (222 mm x 177 mm and slightly smaller). 4 zincograph plates after V. Gudiashvili, two linocut illustrations by Gudiashvili and I. Terent’ev in no.1, 2 zincograph and one linocut plates and 6 illustrations in text, all by K. Zdanevich in no. 2/3 (one loose). Original wrappers, no.1 with linocut illustration after I. Terent’ev by D. Gordeev, no. 2-3 with linocut after K. Zdanevich (no.1 with minor waterstains, small tears in spine). – [Together with:] a proof pull of the front cover illustration inscribed in pencil by D. Gordeev, with a further inscription on the reverse, on green paper (167 mm x 180 mm). Provenance: Nina Vasil'eva (1889-1979, poet).
