Comprising: a circular oak box, the cover centred with a silver plaque engraved 'This box was made from a piece of an original Futtock Timber of Le Sans Pareil taken by the British fleet commanded by Earl Howe, June 1st: 1794'; a rectangular wooden box, the hinged lid centred with carved oval commemorative plaque; a shoe-shaped wooden snuff-box with sliding lid centred with silver plaque engraved SA; a rectangular wooden snuff-box with carved foliate borders; a circular wood bonbonnière; and two silver-mounted wooden medallions commemorating H.M.S. Victory and Horatio Nelson
3½ in. (90 mm.) diam., to 4¼ in. (108 mm.) wide;
The medallions ¾ in. (20 mm.) diam. (7)
