The back pierced with scrolls incorporating two stylised cockerel heads; a silver-gilt and cloisonné enamel vodka cup, mark of Ivan Saltykov, Moscow, circa 1890, decorated with flowers in shaded enamels highlighted with foiled red drop motifs, bordered with turquoise blue beads, gilt interior; and a silver-gilt powder compact box, mark of BK (sans serif), Kiev, 1908/17, circular with reed, ribbon and bead borders and pale green translucent enamel over rayed engine-turning on cover, latter set with mirror to interior
