Description
An English creamware globular teapot and cover and a milk-jug. CIRCA 1780, POSSIBLY ENAMELLED IN HOLLAND. The teapot with flower finial, the entwined handle with flowerhead and leaf terminals, the spout reeded and leaf-moulded to the terminal, the milk-jug with a pinched spout and entwined handle, both decorated in the Kakiemon style with flowering branches. The first 4 in. (10.2 cm.) high, the second 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high (2).
