A late 19th Century Swiss musical box by Mermod Freres with 29cm (11.25") cylinder and 27cm (10.5") single comb playing six airs, with change dial initialled M F and monogrammed, No 107501, parachute pause and advance retard, the comb monogrammed and the gilt base bearing patent plaque, the walnut case crossbanded in kingwood and with ebonised borders, fitted a drawer beneath for three further cylinders, 71cm (28") wide
