A Victorian silver inkstand and companion pen tray, by C F Hancock, London 1868, the shaped oval base chased with matted scrolling within a reeded, beaded edge all raised on four scrolled feet, containing three serpentine shaped boxes including a glass lined inkwell and a circular based taper stick, 27.5cm diameter, inscribed `CB Caldwell, No.2` to the base; the matching pen tray 22.5cm, 42oz (6)
