An early 18th Century walnut longcase clock by James Leicester, Drury Lane, London, the 12ins arched brass dial with wide silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture, calendar dial to arch showing phases of the moon and turned winding holes to the eight day two train five pillar movement striking on a bell, contained in case probably rebuilt and partly reveneered with moulded overhanging cornice above fretted frieze, arched and moulded lower cornice, plain pillars to hood, figured trunk door, crossbanded and with cross-grained mouldings, 86ins high
