A mid 18th Century walnut longcase clock by John Faver of London, the 12ins arched brass dial with wide silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds dial and calendar dial to arch and turned winding holes to the eight day two train five pillar movement striking on a bell, contained in case probably rebuilt and partly reveneered with deep moulded overhanging cornice, fretted frieze and plain turned pillars to hood, matched veneered trunk door inlaid with herringbone banding and with cross-grained mouldings, 90ins high. Note: John Faver recorded working London before 1753
