An Edwardian mahogany longcase clock of George III design, the 12ins arched brass dial with silvered chapter ring, subsidiary seconds dial and chime/silent dial to arch, to the eight day three train movement striking and chiming on a cylindrical gong, four other gongs and eight bells, contained in case, the front inlaid with ribbon and leaf scroll ornament, within wide satinwood bandings and boxwood stringings, the upper part with moulded scroll pediment, with three brass finials to top and gilt metal reeded columns with Corinthian capitals to sides, fretted side panels, arched trunk door, on bracket feet, 92ins high
