THIRD REICH DLV NSFK FLYERS KNIFE / DAGGER, good example of an early pattern example in nickel silver with blue leather covering to the grip, cross guard with black enamelled swastika to the centres. Cross guard with ‘K’ acceptance stamp to the edge. Housed in its blue leather covered scabbard with nickel silver mounts and short brown leather hanging strap which has engraved initials of the original owner to the centre silver plated cartouche. Top of the scabbard throat is stamped with the DLV emblem. The double edged blade shows some wear with scratches from the runners. Blade with Paul Weyersberg makers trademark to the base. Blade 6 ¾ “.
