THIRD REICH LUFTWAFFE OFFICERS SWORD, good example of an aluminum fittings officers sword with blue leather covered grip having the wire binding. Pommel with mobile pattern swastika retaining the gilt finish. Cross guard with gilt swastikas. Housed in its original blue leather covered scabbard with aluminum mounts. Leather half moon hanger to the reverse. Fine polished straight blade with E & F Horster, Solingen makers trademark to the base. The blade measures 27”, overall 35 ¾ “.
