Description
Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by Tiger, Solingen, fine example of an early pattern SA dress dagger with dark brown wooden grip having enamel SA device and nickel silver eagle inserted. Good condition top and lower grip mounts, with the lower mount being stamped ‘He’. Housed in the original scabbard which also remains in generally good condition. Very good condition blade with much of the original finish remaining and cross graining to the blade. The reverse with the makers trademark. Blade measures 8 ¾ inches, overall 14 ½ inches. Generally a very good example of an SA dagger by this popular maker.
