Imperial German Saxon Officers Parade Helmet, superb example of a Imperial German officers parade pickelhaube from the state of Saxony. The helmet body is of fibre with large officers pattern state helmet plate to the centre. Brass front trim and rear spine. Saxon style non-serrated edge state and reichs pattern cockades with gilt scaled officers chinstraps. Hemet is fitted with its black horse hair parade plume with large spike and gilt top mount fitting. Helmet is complete with the original brown leather sweatband and officers lining. The leather sweatband has gilt tooled Dresden retailers details. Small dent to the Saxon shield but otherwise a very nice helmet.
