Rare Third Reich Hitler Youth Leaders Dress Dagger by E & F Horster Solingen, good untouched and found example of the Hitler Youth leaders dagger with original wire bound grip, loose in places. Top pommel with Hitler Youth diamond, correct pattern cross guard. Housed in its black leather covered scabbard with mounts, the top mount having HJ style eagle. Near mint condition blade with nearly all the original polish and finish. Etched with the motto ‘BLUT UND EHRE!’ Reverse of the blade with RZM mark and code M7/36 which is the code for E & F Horster Solingen. Some tarnishing to the exterior fittings and wear to the leather covering of the scabbard but the blade is as mint as you will find. Overall a good example of one of the rarest WW2 German dress daggers. Blade 9 ½ inches, overall 14 inches.
