Busto di Von Corneille Van Cléve Terracotta Attribuito a Jean-Jacques Caffieri (Parigi 1725-1792) seconda metà del XVIII secolo, cm 54, cm 71 con base Il busto che raffigura lo scultore parigino Van Clève (Parigi 1645-1732) artista di corte che lavorò per i giardini di Versaille, Marly e della Tuileries trova significativo riscontro con due busti in marmo e terracotta conservati presso il Louvre di Parigi, attribuiti alla mano di Caffieri. Del fortunato ritratto sono documentate riedizioni dell’autore come quella conservata nella sua ricchissima collezione di ritratti di UOMINI Illustri descritta già nel 1778
