Maria I, Queen of Portugal (1777-1816), fully shark skin lined wooden case with gilt brass applications, burgundy velvet lined interior with gilt metallic thread trimming, 833/1000 silver spoons with pearl friezes, Portuguese, missing sugar cube tong, ladle and 10 teaspoons with Porto assay mark (1803-1810), ladle with maker's mark attributable to José Lopes Pacheco (1753-1799), 6 spoons with maker's mark attributable to Manuel António Ferreira (1802-1820) and 4 with a maker's mark attributable to Manuel José de Faria (1770-1803); 1 spoon with Guimarães assay mark (1820-1834) and BR maker's mark and 1 spoon with Évora assay mark and unreadable maker's mark.
