The artist studied at Epsom College of Art before moving to Ireland, where he concentrated on depicting landscapes in the County Wicklow region. A member of the RHA, the artist had a solo exhibition at the Emmet Gallery, Dublin and later also exhibited at Austin Desmond Fine Art, London, The Royal Academy and the Ulster Academy.
