A fine rare well cast native silver example. Prince of Wales’s plumes surmounting circular scroll inscribed “Prince of Wales Own Madras Cavalry’, the intersection inscribed “IV”; the swallow tails inscribed “Seringapatam” and “Mahidpoor”. Elephant on “Assaye” tablet to voided centre. Three screw posts to reverse. VGC Disbanded in 1891.
