A fine scarce die-stamped gilt example. Within a crowned laurel wreath, the Garter with pierced stencilled numerals 47 to seeded centre, at the base of the laurels an applied gilt rose. Two loops to reverse. Very minor split to one side of neck. VGC (KK 164)
